Hi, people! Happy Friday, I know you all are in weekend mood right now, so a short blog for those gang that are looking for some tips to study, this is for all students and this blog is well researched through studies and statistics. Let’s start! Shall we?

1.  Instead of studying a whole weeks lesson in one day, spread it along the week. Because our brains are more likely to understand in short repeated sessions than long haul hours.

2.  Use flash cards or short notes for revising instead of highlighting and revising from your notes directly. Studying from your notes is ineffective because we tend to draw towards less important information.

3.  You must do only one thing in each study session, if you are balancing chemicals equations do that only or if you are balancing a balance sheet do that only. Don’t try to do both at the same time.

4.  If you are learning something during your study session, learn as such that you have to teach and delivery that information to another person and don’t just learn for the sake of tests. Studies have shown that a group who were asked to study a concept for test against a group asked to study the same concept to teach did far much better in exams sat by both groups.

5.  Practice your knowledge and test your knowledge. If you identify a mistake, try to improve them because mistakes are experience.

6.  Always have a designated place to study with all your resources and clean environment

7.  While studying, it is not effective to put on your favorite playlist and study because it diverts your mind. While studies show that classic music helps a bit in studying but music nowadays only diverts the mind. So it better to just leave your phone away and study.

8.  Don’t text, be on call, and scroll social media or Twitter while studying!
